With our LitExtension app, you can map order statuses from your source store to the corresponding default statuses available on Shopify. During the Migration Configuration step, find the Order Status Mapping section. Here, you can match each source order status with the most appropriate Shopify status.
For example, a “Completed” status from your source store may be mapped to “Paid” and “Fulfilled” on Shopify. You can also click AI Generate to let our AI analyze your source and target stores and automatically suggest suitable mappings.
Please note that Shopify does not allow us to create new or custom order statuses. If your source store uses statuses that Shopify does not support, you will need to map them to the closest available Shopify payment or fulfillment status. We recommend reviewing all mappings carefully before starting the migration.
