To enable maintenance mode in BigCommerce:
- Log in to your BigCommerce control panel.
- Go to Channels > Channel Manager.
- Under Storefronts, click the three-dot icon (⋯) next to the storefront you want to deactivate.
- Select Make inactive.
- Enter the message you want customers to see while your store is unavailable.
- Click Deactivate to confirm.
Your BigCommerce admin will remain accessible, so we can continue migrating your data while customers see the maintenance message. After the migration and data review are complete, return to Channel Manager and select Make active to reopen your storefront.
