Please read the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using any products or services on www.litextension.com. By purchasing, installing or using products or services from LitExtension, we assume that you read and agree to all the terms of this policy. Violation of any of the terms below will result in the termination of your account relating to LitExtension.

1. COPYRIGHT

LitExtension is the copyright holder of all software sold on this site. The copying, redistribution, use or publication of any products without LitExtension’s permission, is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to use any part of our code in whole or as part of any other software or product or website.

2. PRODUCT LICENSE

2.1 Grant Of Product License

By purchasing a product of LitExtension:

  • Customer will obtain a License which will remain valid until the Customer stops using the Product or until LitExtension terminates this License because of Customer's failure to comply with any of its Terms and Conditions.
  • Each License includes a license serial which is valid for one live Source Store.
  • Each License includes a license serial which is valid for one live Target Store and one testing Target Store
2.2 Description Of Other Rights And Limitations

2.2.1 Installation and Use

  • For each new Source Store URL, you are obliged to purchase a separate License.
  • You are not allowed to customize our product's source code. We will not be responsible for any inaccurate results after you customized our product. Immediately, we will deny any support, refund for this license.
  • You are legally bound to preserve the copyright information intact including the text/link at bottom.

2.2.2 Distribution

You are not allowed to distribute LitExtension software to third parties. Any distribution without our permission, including non commercial distribution is considered as violation of this Agreement and entails liability, according to the current law. You may not place the Software onto a server that allows access to the Software via a public network or the Internet for distribution purposes.

2.2.3 Rental

You may not give, sell, sub-license, rent, lease or lend any portion of the Software to anyone.

2.2.4 Compliance with Applicable Laws

You must comply with all applicable laws regarding use of software products. LitExtension software and a portion of it are protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. Accordingly, customer is required to treat the software like any other copyrighted material. Any activity violating copyright law will be prosecuted according to the current law. We retain the right to revoke the license of any user holding an invalid license.

3. PRODUCT DELIVERY

After finishing payment, you can download your purchased product(s) by logging into your account at www.litextension.com and going to My Account > My Downloadable Products. A confirmation email is also sent to your registered email address. We bear no responsibilities should you give wrong personal information and email address, which leads to no receipt of confirmation email. Hence, please ensure you have checked these information carefully before proceeding with payment.

Our responsibility in product delivery is considered complete after the downloadable package of you purchased product presents in your LitExtension account. If you have any enquiry or request for assistance regarding to product delivery, please send to our ticket system. Please refer to Section Support for more information regarding support after purchase.

The confirmation email may arrive in your Spam or Promotion box. Hence, please check them before contacting us.

4. SUPPORT

4.1 General Terms

LitExtension strongly committed to privacy, security, compliance and transparency. The set of updates were introduced to the way LitExtension collects, stores and processes personal information due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Support includes answering questions related to our products, bug/error fixing to make sure our products work well on your site, exactly like our demo.
  • Support does not include customizing our product to fit your own needs to migration of the custom data, fields, custom themes or information handled by third-party modules, contributions or server/hosting configuration. We support standard shopping cart database schemes by default. All customization requests will require fee, please Contact Us to get the quote.
  • Complaints about the accuracy of migrated data can be accepted within 30 days after Full Migration was completed. During this period, emergence, change, or destruction of data in the database can take place due to store usage. All these changes may distort the results of the migration. Therefore, LitExtension must not be held responsible for any of the above mentioned issues.
  • You must provide timely response to the requests (such as FTP/cPanel, Admin account,...) made by LitExtension Technical Support Team. If no response is provided on your side, the issue in question shall be considered exhausted. In this case, we reserve the right to act on the problem using our own judgement or based on the previous agreement.
  • After requesting support service to LitExtension Technical Team, you are not allowed to create any other Migrations with the same store information. You are held responsible for restricting all access to your FTP and admin panel, etc.
  • You agree not to change, modify, add, or remove portions of Connector Script source code as it is owned by LitExtension. You agree not to change Connector files' and/or folder's names
  • In case your server need to be configured for allowing the migration tool to work, we will let you know in details.
  • Technical support is available via Email or Live chat. Guaranteed response period is 24 hours (From Monday to Friday, GMT+7). Actual response period may vary. To ask for support or report bugs, please submit a ticket to our Support system. Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday.
  • Technical requests that require additional investigations from our tech engineers will be provided with investigation results within 1 business day.

Important Note: 

  • If you transfer data to the live store, it is highly recommended to turn on maintenance mode on your target shopping cart before migration. This action will help to avoid possible loss of the orders which could be created during the migration procedure. In maintenance mode your customers will see a temporary page with information about service works. You can find the information on how to turn on maintenance mode in documentation for your shopping cart. 
  • You should back-up target store (all source code and database) if your target cart has existing data or using custom theme.
4.2 Migration Tool Specific Terms
  • For LitExtension solution, our support is provided free for 3 months. After 3 months, you can renew support services with a yearly certain fee. The following services are NOT covered by the 3 months free support:
    • Integration of the purchased products.
    • Error correction caused during buyer software upgrade.
    • Error correction caused hosting/server configuration when customer migrates to 2 target sites (or more) storing in difference server/hosting.
    • Modules customization.
    • Product integration troubleshooting.
    • Website performance optimization and tuning.
    • Third-party developers consultation.
    • Product version update with different module.
  • After purchasing migration tool, you are not allowed to exchange another product.
  • The Support ticket is considered to be successfully performed in case the client who ordered it does not respond to LitExtension Technical Support Team messages or does not request any modifications during the 15 days period after our tech engineer validate the result of migration
4.3 Migration Service Specific Terms
  • After purchasing, service/customization projects need to start within 30 days. Customers should provide us full requirements and login credentials to start the projects. After 30 days time is up, all requests for support or modifications will be done for additional cost.
  • We will let you know when migration is under progress, and during this please do not change your files, data and configuration on your Target store or it will results in migration failure. If you do, We will not be liable to you for any damages caused to you
  • For Re-migration or Recent data migration service, LitExtension supports 1 re-migration for free within 30 days after our tech engineers validate the result the first full migration. Please keep in mind that: If you are looking for migration to test Target Cart first then re-migration to real Target Cart later. Test Target-cart and Real target-cart MUST stored in the same server/hosting. During Remigration you won’t be able to change Source Cart type, Source Cart URL and Target Cart type.
  • If you don't request any modifications for 30 days after our tech engineers validate the result of provided services and customizations, the job is considered to be successfully performed. After 30 days time is up, all requests for support or modifications will be done for additional cost.

5. REFUND

5.1 For Migration Tools

If the tool does not work for your case by following our setup instructions, or it does not live up to what has been advertised, we will refund with full amount within 30 days. The following cases are not eligible for refund:

  • You did not follow our Installation/User Guide which cause the tool fails to work.
  • You have no clear evidence that the tool fails to work.
  • You do not have permission (FTP/Cpanel/Admin account) of Source/Target Store.
  • You ask for refund for reasons not related to the migration tool purchased.
  • You want extra features/functionalities which the tool does not have.
  • Your Source/Target store has been configured to prevent the connector to work.
  • Your Source/Target store has been tweaked or installed with custom modules which prevent the migration module to work properly.
  • You paid the migration tools via cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Tender USD).

5.2 For Migration/Customization Services
  • LitExtension provides refund in full within 30 days if there are any major technical issues with migrated data. This has been verified and confirmed by LitExtension Support Team and can't be resolved except the cases that are related to shopping cart limitations or cases that LitExtension Team can not affect. After the refund is made LitExtension stops taking any actions regarding refunded migration.
  • LitExtension does not provide refunds for any services that our tech engineers perform. Those are as follows:
  • LitExtension does not provide refunds for service performance delays that were caused by 3rd party (hosting provider, shopping cart vendors, etc.) faults. However, we guarantee full service delivery after those issues are being solved.
  • It is highly recommend to refrain from performing any manipulations with Target store during the process of automated migration. LitExtension does not provide refunds or take responsibility for possible data corruption or incorrect migration happened because of unwary client’s interference
  • After the full refund was issued the customer is obligated to delete all the migrated data, including images, MySQL dumps, CSV/XML files or backups, that contain these files.

To request refund, please Submit a Ticket with your order information to our ticket system. You will receive the refund within 7 days since your request is confirmed.

6. POLICY CHANGES AND UPDATES

Please note that this policy may change. LitExtension reserves the right to add, remove, change and/or modify this policy at any time. The changes will be updated on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
