Please read the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using any products or services on LitExtension.com (“Service”). By purchasing, using services from LitExtension, we assume that you Read and Agree to All the terms of this policy. Violation of any of the terms below will result in the termination of your account relating to LitExtension.

LitExtension strongly committed to privacy, security, compliance and transparency. The set of updates were introduced to the way LitExtension collects, stores and processes personal information due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

1. Copyright

LitExtension is the copyright holder of all software sold on this site. The copying, redistribution, use or publication of any products without LitExtension’s permission, is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to use any part of our code in whole or as part of any other software or product or website.

 

2. User Obligations

2.1. You must not modify or hack the Service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service or any other LitExtension services.

2.2. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, usage of the Service, or access to the Service without written permission from LitExtension.

2.3. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature through the Service or Website.

2.4. If you become aware of any issues with the Service that result in the improper functioning of the Service, you are bound to inform LitExtension instantly. If no such notice is provided, the Service cannot be held responsible for the due consequences.

2.5. LitExtension guarantees the highest Service security standards, therefore you are obliged to follow the highest level of security and control of any third-parties. Any kind of inobservance of the rules will result in our inability to provide with high-level service, for which LitExtension shall not be held responsible

2.7. If you transfer data to the live store, it is highly recommended to turn on maintenance mode on your target shopping cart before migration. This action will help to avoid possible loss of the orders which could be created during the migration procedure. In maintenance mode your customers will see a temporary page with information about service works. You can find the information on how to turn on maintenance mode in documentation for your shopping cart.

2.8. You should back-up target store (all source code and database) if your target cart has existing data or using custom theme.

 

3. Account Terms

3.1. You must provide your full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process and provide all the necessary details to the support center

3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account and the accompanying password (the “Password”). LitExtension cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation

3.3. LitExtension has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other LitExtension service, for any reason at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account or your access to the Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all Content in your Account. LitExtension reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time

3.4. By providing LitExtension with the Account information for any of your stores, you’re agreeing to allow LitExtension to login to your account, view all account information, modify any other settings deemed necessary for automated interaction and otherwise compatibility with the Service and/or send a data to/from the stores on your behalf. LitExtension does not know, keep or in any other manner get full access to your login and password information, but can only access your Account with your sole permission

3.5. A breach or violation of any of the Account Terms as determined in the sole discretion of LitExtension will result in an immediate Account termination.

 

4. Technical Support Terms

4.1. Technical support is available via Email or Live chat. Guaranteed response period is 24 hours (From Monday to Friday, GMT+7). Actual response period may vary. To ask for support or report bugs, please submit a ticket to our Support system. Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday.

4.2. Support includes answering questions related to our service, bug/error fixing. Technical requests that require additional investigations from our tech engineers will be provided with investigation results within 1 business day.

4.3. You must provide timely response to the requests made by the Customer Support Team. If no response is provided on your side, the issue in question shall be considered exhausted. In this case, we reserve the right to act on the problem using our own judgement or based on the previous agreement.

4.4. Support does not include customizing our product to fit your own needs to migration of the custom data, fields, custom themes or information handled by third-party modules, contributions or server/hosting configuration. We support standard shopping cart database schemes by default. All customization requests will require fee, please Contact Us to get the quote.

4.5. After requesting support service to LitExtension Technical Team, you are not allowed to create any other Migrations with the same store information. You are held responsible for restricting all access to your FTP and admin panel, etc.

4.6. You agree not to change, modify, add, or remove portions of Connector Script source code as it is owned by LitExtension. You agree not to change Connector file and/or folder names.

4.7. For LitExtension solution, our Technical Support Service is provided free for 3 months. After 3 months, you can renew support services with a yearly certain fee. The following services are not covered by the 3 months free support:

  • Integration of the purchased products.
  • Error correction caused during buyer software upgrade.
  • Error correction caused hosting/server configuration when customer migrates to 2 target sites (or more) storing in difference server/hosting.
  • Modules customization.
  • Product integration troubleshooting.
  • Website performance optimization and tuning.
  • Third-party developers consultation.
  • Product version update with different module

4.8. The Support ticket is considered to be successfully performed in case the client who ordered it does not respond to LitExtension Technical Support Team messages or does not request any modifications during the 7 days period after our tech engineer validate the result of migration.

4.9. Complaints about the accuracy of migrated data can be accepted within 30 days after Full Migration was completed. During this period, emergence, change, or destruction of data in the database can take place due to store usage. All these changes may distort the results of the migration. Therefore, LitExtension must not be held responsible for any of the above mentioned issues.

 

5. Shopping Cart Migration Terms

5.1. After purchasing migration service, you are not allowed to change Source Cart type, Source Cart URL and Target cart type.

5.2. The Service does not guarantee proper migration of the custom data, fields or information handled by third-party modules and/or contributions. LitExtension supports standard shopping cart database schemes by default. Custom fields can be included in the migration process on customer’s demand for additional charge. 5.3. The Service includes necessary actions on your current and new stores: uploading additional files via FTP, migration wizard configuration, migration results validation, performing Demo migration. Customization possibilities are limited by the specificities of your source and target carts and do not include modifications of third-party extensions, migration of non-standard entities like reviews, testimonials, news, website content, etc.

5.4. After requesting the Service, you are not allowed to create any other Migrations with the same store information. You are held responsible for restricting all access to your FTP and admin panel, deleting all temporary customers, their password information, etc.

5.5. After purchasing, service/customization projects need to start within 30 days. Customers should provide us full requirements and login credentials to start the projects. After 30 days time is up, all requests for support or modifications will be done for additional cost.

5.6. LitExtension will let you know when migration is under progress, and during this please do not change your files, data and configuration on your Target store or it will results in migration failure. If you do, LitExtension will not be liable to you for any damages caused to you.

5.7. Remigration service is provided to perform the initial migration again with reduced price. This procedure is suitable in several cases:

  • Source or target shopping cart was not set up properly;
  • Some fields are missing;
  • You want to migrate to another domain.

During Remigration you will not be able to change Source Cart type, Source Cart URL and Target Cart type.

5.8. For Re-migration, LitExtension supports 2 re-migrations for free within 30 days after our tech engineers validate the result the first full migration. Please keep in mind that: If you are looking for migration to test Target Cart first then re-migration to real Target Cart later. Test Target-cart and Real target-cart MUST stored in the same server/hosting. During Remigration you won’t be able to change Source Cart type, Source Cart URL and Target Cart type.

5.9. If you don’t request any modifications for 30 days after our tech engineers validate the result of provided services and customizations, the job is considered to be successfully performed. After 30 days time is up, all requests for support or modifications will be done for additional cost.

 

6. Payment

6.1. All the prices for the Shopping Cart Migration Service/Customization are provided in US Dollar (USD).

6.2. The Service is billed in advance and is non-refundable.

6.3. Shopping cart migration is one time service (one migration for one fee).

 

7. Refund

7.1. LitExtension provides refund in full within 30 days if there are any major technical issues with migrated data. This has been verified and confirmed by LitExtension Support Team and can’t be resolved within 3 business days since the first customer report except except the cases that are related to shopping cart limitations or cases that LitExtension Team can not affect. After the refund is made LitExtension stops taking any actions regarding refunded migration.

7.2. After the Service is completely provided only partial refunds (up to 30%) are possible since computing resources were already consumed.

7.3. To request refund, please Submit a Ticket with your order information to our ticket system. You will receive the refund within 7 days since your request is confirmed.

7.4. It is highly recommend to refrain from performing any manipulations with Target store during the process of automated migration. LitExtension does not provide refunds or take responsibility for possible data corruption or incorrect migration happened because of unwary client’s interference.

7.5. The following cases are not eligible for refund:

  • You have no clear evidence that the Service fails to work.
  • You do not have permission (FTP/Cpanel/Admin account/API) of Source/Target Store.
  • You ask for refund for reasons not related to the Service purchased.
  • You want extra features/functionalities which the Service does not have.
  • Your Source/Target store has been configured to prevent the connector to work.
  • Your Source/Target store has been tweaked or installed with custom modules which prevent the migration module to work properly.
  • Service performance delays that were caused by 3-rd party (hosting provider, shopping cart vendors, etc.) faults.

7.6. LitExtension does not provide refunds for any additional services that our tech engineers perform. Those are as follows:

  • All-In-One Migration Service
  • Migration from Database Dump/ CSV Files.
  • Customized Migration Service

7.7. After the full refund was issued the customer is obligated to delete all the migrated data, including images, MySQL dumps, CSV/XML files or backups, that contain these files.

 

8. Policy changes and Updates

Please note that this policy may change. LitExtension reserves the right to add, remove, change and/or modify this policy at any time. The changes will be updated on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
