Please carefully read the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) before using any products or services on https://litextension.com or https://app.litextension.com/ (“Service”). By purchasing and using services from LitExtension, we assume that you have read and agree to all the terms of this policy. Any violation of the terms outlined below will result in the termination of your LitExtension-related account.
LitExtension is strongly committed to privacy, security, compliance, and transparency. Updates have been made to how LitExtension collects, stores, and processes personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1.1. LitExtension is the copyright holder of all software or services sold on this site. The copying (any portion of the HTML, CSS, Javascript, or visual design), redistribution, reuse, or publication of any products without LitExtension’s permission, is strictly prohibited. You are not allowed to use any part of our code in whole or as part of any other software product or website.
1.2. LitExtension has no intellectual property rights over the data you provide to the service. When trying to demo or write the testimonials, you agree to allow LitExtension to publish the data without your prior consent.
1.3. LitExtension has the right (but not the obligation) to refuse or remove any data that is available via the service.
2.1. Your use of the service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on “as is” and “as available” basis.
2.2. You must read and agree to all the terms before using the LitExtension service.
2.3. You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the service, including your data, may be transferred and unencrypted involving:
- Transmissions over various networks
- Changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. This does not include payment information, which is transferred and encrypted.
2.4. You understand and agree that LitExtension will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or the inability to use the service, data, or other losses.
2.5. LitExtension does not guarantee that the service will meet a part or all specific requirements, be uninterrupted, or error-free.
3.1. You must not modify or hack the service or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the service or any other LitExtension services.
3.2. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the service, usage of the service, or access to the service without written permission from LitExtension.
3.3. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature through the service or website.
3.4. If you become aware of any issues with the service that result in the improper functioning of the Service, you are bound to inform LitExtension instantly. If no such notice is provided, the service cannot be held responsible for the due consequences.
3.5. LitExtension guarantees the highest service security standards, therefore you are obliged to follow the highest level of security and control of any third parties. Any kind of inobservance of the rules will result in our inability to provide high-level service, for which LitExtension shall not be held responsible.
3.6. If you transfer data to the live store, it is highly recommended to turn on maintenance mode on your target shopping cart before migration. This action will help to avoid possible loss of the orders that could be created during the migration procedure. In maintenance mode, your customers will see a temporary page with information about service works. You can find the information on how to turn on maintenance mode in the documentation for your shopping cart.
3.7. You should back up both source store and target store (all source code and database) before using the LitExtension service.
4.1. You must provide your full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process and provide all the necessary details to the technical support team.
4.2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the accompanying password (the “Password”). LitExtension cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation
4.3. LitExtension has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service, or any other LitExtension service, for any reason at any time. Such termination of the service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account or your access to the Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your account. LitExtension reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time
4.4. By providing LitExtension with the account information for any of your stores, you’re agreeing to allow LitExtension to login to your account, view all account information, modify any other settings deemed necessary for automated interaction and otherwise compatibility with the service and/or send a data to/from the stores on your behalf. LitExtension does not know, keep, or in any other manner get full access to your login and password information, but can only access your Account with your sole permission.
4.5. Any verbal, or written action that threatens customers, employees or members of LitExtension will result in immediate account termination.
4.6. A breach or violation of any of the Account Terms as determined in the sole discretion of LitExtension will result in immediate account termination.
4.7. LitExtension reserves the right to appeal any customer reviews (if any) that are false or misrepresent our services. When we file an appeal, a third party will act as an arbitrator to resolve the matter in a fair and cooperative manner. The arbitrator’s resolution will be respected and enforced. If either party intentionally disregards the decision, the other party has the right to escalate the matter to higher authorities, including legal entities if necessary.
5.1. Automated Migration (Basic migration) service is a shopping cart migration cloud service provided by LitExtension at https://app.litextension.com. If you have any questions during migration, you may contact us, we provide technical support for free to answer your questions. Technical support includes answering questions related to our service, and bug/error fixing caused by our tool or service. Please note that support does not include Data Testing or Running the migration.
5.2. LitExtension provides free technical support for 60 days from the date your payment for the migration service is processed. If you wish to extend the technical support period beyond the 60 days, an additional fee will be required. Please refer to our Premium Customer Support service or contact our Customer Care Manager for further assistance.
5.3. Technical Support is always available to support. We receive customer requests 24/7 through email or live chat. After receiving them, we will review and process those requests and commit to responding within 24 hours during our working hours (from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, Timezone: UTC+7). Please understand that tickets arriving during our weekend will be processed when we’re back to work on the following Monday.
5.4. Technical support does not include customizing our product/service to fit your own needs to migrate the custom data, fields, custom themes, or information handled by third-party modules, contributions, or server/hosting configuration. We support standard shopping cart database schemes by default. All customization requests will require a fee, please contact us to get a quote.
5.5. After requesting support service from the LitExtension customer support team, you are not allowed to create any other migrations with the same store information. You are held responsible for restricting all access to your FTP and admin panel, etc.
5.6. You agree not change, modify, add, or remove portions of the connector script source code as it is owned by LitExtension, the connector file and/or folder names, the source store URL in the Migration app after the first full migration. We may refuse to provide technical support if you change it.
5.7. For Re-migration: LitExtension supports 3 re-migrations for free within 60 days from the date your payment for the migration service is processed, and please do not change the target store’s path after the first full migration is completed.
5.8. For recent migration: LitExtension offers unlimited Recent Migration service within 60 days from the date your order is made, and the total amount of new data (Customers and Orders and Products) does not exceed 5% of the total data included in your initial migration package. If exceeds 5%, a small fee will be required, please feel free to visit Recent Migration Service or contact us for further assistance.
5.9. For Smart-update: LitExtension offers an unlimited Smart-Update service lifetime. Please note that this service only supports updating Product data.
5.10. Complaints regarding the accuracy of migrated data are accepted within 60 days from the date your order is placed. After 60 days, changes, additions, or deletions in the database may occur due to store usage. These changes can alter the migration results. Therefore, LitExtension cannot be held responsible for any of the aforementioned issues.
5.11. You should provide timely responses to the requests made by the LitExtension Customer Support Team. If no response is provided on your side, the issue in question shall be considered exhausted. In this case, we reserve the right to act on the problem using our own judgment or based on the previous agreement. The Support ticket is considered to be successfully performed in case the client who ordered it does not respond to LitExtension technical support team messages or does not request any modifications during the 7-day period after our tech engineer validates the result of migration.
6.1. The All In One Migration service includes necessary actions on your current and new stores: uploading additional files via FTP, migration wizard configuration (fixing hosting/server error, checking firewall, etc), migration results validation, performing demo and full migration. Customization possibilities are limited by the specificities of your source and target carts and do not include modifications of third-party extensions, or migration of non-standard entities like reviews, testimonials, news, website content, etc.
6.2. LitExtension supports standard shopping cart database schemes by default. The All In One Migration service does not support migration of customized data such as:
- Data is created directly by modifying your database of source or target store.
- Data is in the source store’s default database but not in the target store’s database.
- Data is not in both the source store’s and the target store’s default database.
- Data generated by third-party modules.
Customized data can be included in the migration process on the customer’s demand for an additional charge. Please contact us to get a quote.
6.3. The All-In-One Migration service does not include Displaying data on the custom themes or Change DNS and switch domain to target store.
6.4. Migration requirements will be clarified by the customer before we start the migration. After full migration has started, all requests arising (for example: change or edit CSV/XML/Excel/Database dump files; request new modifications,…) are completed for an additional cost.
6.5 After purchasing All In One Migration service, you are not allowed to change the source cart type, Source Cart URL, and Target cart type.
6.6. After requesting the All In One Migration service, you are not allowed to create any other Migrations with the same store information. You are held responsible for restricting all access to your FTP and admin panel, deleting all temporary customers, their password information, etc.
6.7. LitExtension will let you know when migration is under progress, and during this please do not change your files, data, and configuration on your Target store or it will result in migration failure. If you do, LitExtension will not be liable to you for any damages caused to you.
6.8. LitExtension offers unlimited free recent migrations(*), remigration within 30 days – 90 days with Smart-update after the migration is completed. After 30 days, if you need to extend the technical support period, we may support extending by a Premium Support Service.
(*) The condition of unlimited recent migration for free : The total amount of new data (Customers and Orders and Products) does not exceed 5% of the total data included in your initial migration package. If exceeds 5%, a small fee will be required, please feel free to visit Recent Migration Service or contact us for further assistance.
6.9. If you are looking for migration test Target Cart first then re-migration to the real target cart later. Test target cart and real target cart MUST be stored in the same server/hosting. During remigration, you won’t be able to change the source cart type, source cart URL, and target cart type.
6.10. If you don’t request any modifications for 30 days after our tech engineers validate the result of the provided services and customizations, the job is considered to be successfully performed. After 30 days’ time is up, all requests for support or modifications will be done for an additional cost.
7.1. We consider the safety and security of our customers’ data a top priority. Therefore, after you receive the final migration results from us, please make sure to delete or change all accounts, APIs, etc., that you provided to us for the migration process. We will not be responsible for any issues with your data caused by the disclosure of access information after we have delivered the data to you.
8.1. All the prices for the services are provided in USD.
8.2. We only support the following payment methods:

- Wire Transfer
- Crypto
8.3. Migration service provided by LitExtension is a one-time service (one migration for one payment).
LitExtension provides a refund in full within 30 days if there are any major technical issues with migrated data. Please visit here for further details.
9.1. 30-day Refund Guarantee
LitExtension provides a refund in full within 30 days if there are any major technical issues with migrated data. This has been verified and confirmed by the LitExtension support team and can’t be resolved within 5 business days since the first customer report except for the cases that are related to shopping cart limitations or cases that LitExtension Team can not affect. After the refund is made LitExtension stops taking any actions regarding refunded migration.
The 30-day Refund Guarantee applies only to the Automated Migration service and does not apply to the All-in-One service.
To request a refund, please submit a ticket with your order information to our ticket system. You will receive a refund within 7 days since your request is confirmed.
After a full refund is issued, the customer is obligated (or we reserve the right) to delete all migrated data without any legal claims arising from the deletion. LitExtension also reserves the right to decline any related support requests if the customer intentionally retains and uses the migration results without our prior approval.
9.2. Cases that are not eligible for refund
It is highly recommended to refrain from performing any manipulations with the target store during the process of automated migration. LitExtension does not provide refunds or take responsibility for possible data corruption or incorrect migration that happened because of unwary client interference.
The following cases are not eligible for refund:
- You ask for a refund for reasons not related to the service purchased.
- You want to migrate data but cannot proceed due to limitations of the source store or the target store not supporting it.
- The number of entities you have purchased is less than the actual entities you have in the source store.
- You have no clear evidence that the service fails to work.
- You do not have permission (FTP/Cpanel/Admin account/API) of the source/target store.
- You want extra features/functionalities which the service does not have.
- Your source/target store has been configured to prevent the connector to work.
- Your source/target store has been tweaked or installed with custom fields/custom modules which prevent the migration module to work properly.
- The server/hosting containing your source/target store has been secured by a firewall.
- Service performance delays that were caused by 3rd party (hosting provider, shopping cart vendors, etc.) faults.
- You ask for a refund after the service is completely provided.
Instead, we provide support to resolve all such situations, please just feel free to contact us. We guarantee full-service delivery after those issues are solved.
LitExtension does not provide refunds for any additional services that our tech engineers perform. Those are as follows:
- The All-in-One Migration Service
- Migration from Database Dump/ CSV, Excel, XML Files/ API Migration Service
- Premium Support Service
- Re-migration
- Recent Migration
- Customized Migration Service
- Multi-threaded Migration
- Auto-test
Unexpected errors may occur with the data in the additional options section shown on the LitExtension website. We guarantee to provide the best support possible.
10.1. Please note that this policy may change. LitExtension reserves the right to add, remove, change, or terminate the service for any reason, without notice at any time. The changes will be updated on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
10.2. The service price may change without prior notice.
10.3. LitExtension will not be liable to any party for any modifications, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
