LitExtension handles product prices and order currencies differently when migrating to Shopify.
Product prices will follow your Shopify store’s default currency, but their numerical values will not be automatically converted. For example, if a product costs £100 on your source store and Shopify uses USD, it will be migrated as $100, not the converted USD equivalent. Therefore, you should set the correct default currency in Shopify and adjust your product prices before migration if necessary.
For historical orders, LitExtension can retain the original currency and order total used in each transaction. If you want these values converted to your Shopify store’s default currency instead, please contact our support team to discuss your requirements.
