After migrating data to WooCommerce, some product options (such as size or color) may be converted into variable products.
In WooCommerce, variable products require customers to select a variation before adding the product to cart or proceeding to checkout. This is standard platform behavior, not a migration issue.
To improve the customer experience, you have a couple of options:
- Set default variation values so a selection is pre-filled automatically
- Use a plugin such as WooCommerce Product Addons if you want to create optional or custom product options instead of required variations.
