How to сlear сache in PrestaShop?

After migrating to PrestaShop, clearing the cache is often necessary to make changes, such as your newly migrated products, visible on the storefront. Here’s how to clear cache in PrestaShop, depending on your version:

For PrestaShop 1.6.x and above

1. Log in to your PrestaShop Admin panel.
2. Go to Advanced Parameters > Performance.
3. Click the Clear cache button in the top-right corner of the screen.

For PrestaShop 1.5.x and lower

1. Log in to your PrestaShop admin panel.
2. Go to Advanced Parameters > Performance.
3. Set Force compile to Yes, then save your changes.
4. Go to your storefront and refresh the page to see the update.

To clear the cache manually (if you don’t have admin access)

1. Access your server via FTP or your hosting’s File Manager.
2. Navigate to your PrestaShop installation folder, and delete the contents (except index.php) inside these directories:
   cache/smarty/compile
   cache/smarty/cache
   img/tmp
3. Refresh your storefront to see the changes.
