You should notice that Prestashop has some product description peculiarities – they are limited to 400 symbols with short description and to 800 symbols with full description by default. Therefore after migration, your descriptions may be cut to fit the Prestashop framework in case they are longer. As a result, you cannot migrate full description to Prestashop.
You can contact PrestaShop support in order to customize PrestaShop code and extend limits set by default in cart’s files.
After that, you totally re-do the migration again and with our extended feature of Clear data on the target site, your data will not be duplicated.
