Neto to Shopify Migration
Migrate your Neto store to Shopify with LitExtension’s automated data migration tool. Transfer products, product categories, customers, orders, CMS pages, and blog content.
Connect your stores, select the data and Additional Options, and run a Free Demo to inspect sample records in Shopify before starting Full Migration. Your Neto store can continue selling while the transfer runs, and you review the completed data before launching Shopify.
How to Migrate from Neto to Shopify
Automated Migration lets you connect both stores, select your records and options, and run the transfer. You review the Free Demo and validate the Shopify results before launch.
Step 1. Connect Your Neto and Shopify Stores
Sign in to LitExtension and create a migration. Select Neto as the Source Cart and Shopify as the Target Cart, enter the required store details, and follow the connection instructions displayed for each platform.
Step 2. Select Data and Additional Options
Select products and categories, customers, orders, CMS pages, and blog content. Configure redirects, order references, description images, name cleanup, and automated collections. Back up Shopify before enabling target-data cleanup.
Step 3. Review the Demo and Run Full Migration
Run a Free Demo and compare sample Shopify records with Neto. Resolve unexpected results, then start Full Migration. The transfer runs on LitExtension’s servers; validate the completed catalog, customers, orders, and content before launch.
Choose Your Neto to Shopify Migration Method
Choose an approach based on the records you need and the work your team can manage. Moving a product file is a different task from preserving customer profiles, historical orders, category content, CMS pages, and blog posts. List the records you need before comparing methods.
| Method | Suitable use | Your responsibilities |
|---|---|---|
| Manual export and import | A defined set of records with a suitable Shopify import workflow. | Prepare files, map fields, preserve relationships, and check the results. |
| LitExtension Automated Migration | The Neto data listed in What Data below. | Connect both stores, choose data and options, review the Demo, run Full Migration, and validate Shopify. |
| All-in-One Migration | A project you want LitExtension experts to manage. | Agree on requirements and review results while specialists handle setup, mapping, the transfer, and validation. |
Automated Migration is the primary workflow for this route. If your Neto store depends on custom fields, tier pricing, or specialized catalog behavior, provide examples to LitExtension before starting. The listed transfer does not recreate every source feature in Shopify.
Prepare Neto and Your Shopify Store
Back up your source data and keep copies of the records and assets you need. Prepare Shopify and record counts for the selected products, categories, customers, orders, CMS pages, and blog posts. Choose representative records that your team can compare during the Demo and after the full transfer.
Include products with variants, special prices, several images, and different inventory settings. Select orders with several items and different totals, customer profiles with addresses, pages with embedded formatting, and blog posts with images. Review data already present in Shopify and decide which records must remain.
Prepare the Shopify design, apps, payment methods, shipping, taxes, and notifications separately. Data migration does not convert Neto themes, integrations, or custom code into Shopify features. Keep a separate list of operational requirements for launch testing.
Connect Neto and Shopify
Sign in to the LitExtension app and create a migration. Choose Neto as the source and Shopify as the target, then provide the required store details. Follow the connection instructions displayed for each platform.
Complete the connection checks before selecting data. If a check fails, review the store details and connection setup or contact support with the error information. Keep the required access available through the Demo, Full Migration, and result review.
Select Products, Categories, and Customers
Choose the catalog records you need. Product fields include names, SKUs, short and full descriptions, status, prices, special prices, quantities, stock-management settings, product metadata, tags, variants, and images. Review variants and image presentation in the Demo; the listed parent groups do not promise every detailed source subfield.
Category data includes names, descriptions, and images. Category meta titles and descriptions are not included. Customer profiles include first names, last names, emails, and addresses. Customer passwords are not transferred, so prepare and test Shopify account access separately.
Neto attributes and tier pricing are not included in the listed Shopify transfer. Product weight and dimensions are also outside this scope. If your business depends on these fields, discuss the required target representation before committing to the full move.
Select Historical Orders, CMS Pages, and Blogs
Orders include IDs, dates, statuses, items, totals, subtotal, discount, tax, shipping price, customer names and emails, and billing and shipping addresses. Review order items and their relationships in the Demo. Order comments and tracking information are not included in this route.
CMS pages include titles, URLs, authors, content, and thumbnail images. Blog posts include titles, URLs, content, and thumbnail images. CMS creation dates, blog authors, blog categories, and source blog creation dates are not included. Prepare publication settings and missing page metadata separately.
Reviews, coupons, manufacturers, taxes, and multilingual content are not part of this transfer. Keep any records you need and plan their target preparation separately. The data section below shows the fields available for the selected route.
Configure the Additional Options
Select Create 301 Redirects to connect old Neto URLs with their Shopify destinations. Preserve Order IDs retains the source order references. Strip HTML Tags removes markup from product and category names.
Description Images transfers embedded images in product and category descriptions and blog content. It is separate from the product Images and content Thumbnail Image fields. The Shopify Smart Collections option creates automated collections from Neto categories and adds product tags for the collection rules.
Clear Target Data deletes existing Shopify records for the migration entities you select. Agree on the cleanup scope within your team, save a target backup, and identify records that must remain before enabling it. Check your option selection before running the Demo.
Review the Free Demo
Run a Free Demo and open the sample records in Shopify. Compare product names, SKUs, descriptions, status, prices, stock settings, metadata, tags, variants, and images with Neto. Inspect category content, collection membership, and customer addresses.
Check sample orders for their references, dates, statuses, items, totals, customer details, and addresses. Open CMS pages and blog posts to review titles, content, URLs, thumbnails, and embedded images. Compare records that matter to your daily operations instead of relying only on counts.
Resolve unexpected results before starting Full Migration. Keep source and target examples when reporting an issue so support can investigate the specific record and migration setting. Review the target cleanup and collection options again if the sample organization differs from your expectations.
Run Full Migration and Validate Results
After reviewing the Demo, start Full Migration. The transfer runs on LitExtension’s servers, so you can close your browser and return to check progress. Your Neto store can continue serving customers and accepting orders while the transfer runs.
When it finishes, compare the selected counts and representative records. Check products, variants, images, category organization, customer profiles, historical orders, CMS pages, and blog content. Your team owns the result review in Automated Migration, with support available for migration issues.
Prepare SEO and Shopify for Launch
Review migrated product meta titles and descriptions. Prepare category and content-page metadata separately, test important redirects, update internal links, and check the new navigation. Transferred URLs do not guarantee identical structures or unchanged search rankings.
Test account access, browsing, variant selection, cart actions, payments, shipping, taxes, and checkout on desktop and mobile. Review content publication settings and notifications. Finish these checks before switching the domain or directing customers to Shopify.
Handle New Data, Cost, and Timing
Track records created or changed in Neto during the project. Recent Migration transfers new records, Smart Update handles changes to existing data, and Re-migration reruns the transfer. LitExtension provides these operations free for 60 days. Review the final update before completing your store transition.
Cost depends on data volume, selected options, and any agreed custom work. Use Estimate Migration Cost. Timing also depends on images, connections, target readiness, and review work; include preparation, the Demo, validation, and launch testing in your schedule.

Who We Truly Are? Let Our Customer Define!
I am in the process of moving my existing website over to Shopify. As this is my 4th iteration of my website, I knew I didn’t want to do the migration part myself again! Using this service meant that I could concentrate on running my business for a couple of days while the migration was being done for me.
Lotus was phenomenal! She is detailed-oriented and works extremely fast! She helped with the migration from Wix to Shopify in no time. Thank you so much Lotus and everyone at LitExtension!
We migrate with Litextension our shop from shopware to shopify. The team was great to work with. During the process we identified a few issues. But everything was fully resolved in two days. We are satisfied with the work from Litextension.
It was great service from those guys! Verry complex case with very old Woocommerce to new Woocommerce store!
I built our new Shopify site myself but with no developer experience. I really struggled migrating products, customers and order history. It was a bit overwhelming until I found Lit. They helped me set it up and did the contract. Emailed me at every stage and listened to my feedback. I found them on Thursday and by Monday the work was completed.

The team at LitExtension was great to work with, and also showed great patience with my migration needs. We had a large website, with many products and variants and they were able to do everything we needed, even some custom requests. Great people and great company.
Took most of the work off our hands. The team were great and went out of their way to get the migration from J2store to Shopify completed. The time zone differences were slightly difficult but that didn’t stop the work from being completed.
