How to Migrate Store Data to BigCommerce
Want to move your store to BigCommerce? LitExtension makes it easy with these six simple steps:

Here are the 3 main steps to use the LitExtension tool:
Step 1. Set Up Source and Target Carts
Log in and click “Create new migration”. First, pick your current (Source) cart and enter its URL.
- *If your current cart is open-source (like WooCommerce), download the “le_connector” file. This file connects your store to LitExtension. Unzip it and upload it to your server’s root folder. A “Connection was successfully installed” message will appear when done.
- If your current cart is hosted (like Wix), just follow the on-screen steps.
Next, pick BigCommerce as your Target Cart. Enter your store URL, API Path, and API Access Token.

Click “Next” to continue.
Step 2. Configure Migration
Select what you want to move, like products, customers, pages, blogs, and coupons. You can pick a few or click “Select all”.
You can also use extra options. For example, you can “Clear current data on Target Store” to avoid duplicates. Or, you can “Create 301 redirects” so links to your old store will automatically go to your new BigCommerce store instead of showing an error.
Make sure to match your order statuses and languages so they show up correctly on BigCommerce.
Step 3. Perform BigCommerce Migration
