How to export CSV files from Jimdo

As soon as the first order comes at your site, you can export order information, including the products that were ordered and shipping and billing addresses, for use in cart-to-cart migration.

Data export in CSV format

  • Sign in to Jimdo and select the appropriate website.
  • Place checkboxes next to the orders you want to export by clicking Store on the far left and then clicking Orders.
  • Click Export Selected after selecting the necessary export format.

You have a variety of export formats to choose from in your Jimdo online store. The decision you make here will rely on the goal and tool you have in mind for the data.

Using spreadsheets to store data

  • Jimdo Store Format: Detailed address and order information, including ordered items, as well as order and payment statuses.
  • Creator Store Format: Imitates the format of the Creator online store. Incompatible data fields won’t be filled up.

Please keep in mind that you should immediately upload and edit the downloaded files at the appropriate service. The formatting might be overwritten if you open these files in another program and then save them again.
