Shopping Cart Migration Guide

Easy Digital Downloads (EDD), created by Pippin Williamson, is a free WordPress eCommerce plugin that focuses purely on digital products. Its primary goal is to make selling digital products simple and complete.

To estimate how much it costs to migrate from/to Easy Digital Downloads, you should know how many entities you have on the site. With three simple steps, you can check the number of entities on the Easy Digital Downloads platform. Follow the detailed instructions below to perform it. Let’s start!

Step 1: Check the number of products

To see how many products are available in your current store, on the left in the admin panel, please click “Downloads” then choose “All Downloads”. The total number of products will appear on the top left of the page”, as highlighted in the image below.

Step 2: Check the number of customers

To see how many customers are there in your current store, on the left in the admin panel, please click “User” then choose “All Users”. The total number of customers will appear as the number of Subscribers on top of the page, as highlighted in the image below.

Note: This is the total customers who have registered to your EDD site, NOT only the customers who have purchased your products. (To see check the customers who have purchased your products, please click on “Downloads” tab then choose Customers)

Step 3: Check the number of orders

To see how many customers are there in your current store, on the left in the admin panel, please click on the “Downloads” tab, then choose “Payment History”. The total number of orders will appear on top left of the page, as highlighted in the image below.
