If you need to grant LitExtension access to your store’s files, here’s how to create an FTP account through cPanel:
1. Log in to your cPanel dashboard using your hosting provider’s credentials.
2. Under the Files section, click FTP Accounts.
3. In the Add FTP Account form, fill in the required details:
-
- Login: choose a username for the new FTP account.
- Domain: select the domain this FTP account should be associated with.
- Password: create a strong password, or use cPanel’s password generator.
- Directory: set the specific folder this account can access. To grant access to your entire site, leave this as the default root directory.
- Quota: set a storage limit for this account, or select “Unlimited.”
4. Click Create FTP Account to finish.
5. Once created, you can find your new account listed under FTP Accounts, along with the server address (host), port, and connection details needed to log in.
