Unfortunately, during multi-store migrations on Magento, OpenCart, and PrestaShop, the following additional options are not available:
- Preserve customer IDs on the Target Store
- Preserve order IDs on the Target Store
- Preserve product IDs on the Target Store
- Preserve category IDs on the Target Store
This is why your customer IDs, along with these other entity IDs, weren’t carried over during your multi-store migration.
One exception: for Magento multi-store migrations specifically, the “Preserve order IDs on the Target store” option is available, even though the other three ID-preservation options are not.
