While it’s technically possible to make changes to your Source Store while the migration is running, we highly recommend avoiding this. If you edit or update data that has already been migrated to your Target Store, it can create inconsistencies, making it harder to accurately compare and test your data once the migration is complete.
If changes to your Source Store are unavoidable during this time, keep track of exactly what was updated so you can review and adjust the corresponding data on your Target Store afterward, and don’t forget to notify our migration team about this change.
