Step 2. Select Entities to Transfer from WIX to Shopify
This is where you select which entities to migrate from Wix to Shopify. Why my product variants were not transferred from WIX?
You can’t convert WIX to Shopify any of your product variants. Due to the peculiarities of Shopify functionality, it sets limits for product variants. Thus, it is not allowed to migrate each product with more than 99 variants and 3 attributes from WIX to Shopify.
Can I import WIX to Shopify all options and attributes?
Shopify doesn’t allow creating product options and attributes. So, options and attributes are not available for WIX to Shopify migration. But don’t worry, if your Source Cart has this type of data, during the data migration process, LitExtension will generate product variants out of your existing product options on your Target Shopify Store.
Regarding attributes, to have product descriptions displayed, our WIX to Shopify migration tool will import them to meta fields on Shopify.
Note that, due to Shopify’s limitations, any product on Shopify only has less than 99 variants. As a result, your products will be migrated with no more than 99 variants and 3 attributes.
