About Our Client
Our client is a Belgian wellness brand specializing in healthy, natural food, superfoods, and skincare products. Their offerings include juices, matcha, supplements, and more, all crafted with 100% natural ingredients.
As their business grew rapidly, managing a scaling eCommerce store on WooCommerce became increasingly complex due to its technical demands. They needed a more streamlined, scalable solution, leading them to Shopify Plus.
After thorough research, they found LitExtension to be the most trusted and legitimate migration service provider. With our proven track record for Shopify Plus migration, we were the clear choice to ensure a smooth, accurate, and disruption-free transition.
Our Client’s Requirements
To ensure a seamless transition to Shopify Plus, the client outlined several critical requirements for the migration:
– Utilize our All-in-One Migration Service along with the full suite of LitExtension’s Additional Options to transfer all essential store data, including products, customers, orders, categories, and related information from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus without data loss or duplication.
– Migrate store content in two languages to maintain localization and user experience for their diverse customer base.
The Challenges
A key challenge in this project was migrating the store’s bilingual content accurately. This bilingual setup extended beyond simple translation, it involved structured data mapped differently for each language, including different taxonomies, navigation menus, and localized media. Preserving the integrity of these parallel data sets during migration posed a high risk of misalignment, content loss, or duplication if not managed with precision.
Our Solution
To ensure the client’s bilingual store content was accurately migrated, we leveraged a robust multilingual management solution integrated with Shopify. This allowed us to structure and maintain separate, translated versions of each product and category for both languages. With everything properly mapped and organized, we transferred the localized content to the new Shopify Plus store without any loss or confusion.
In addition to the language setup, all essential store data was successfully migrated according to the client’s specifications. We then applied Additional Options to maintain consistency and prevent disruptions after the launch.
