SHOPLINE to BigCommerce Migration

The standard migration scope includes Products and Product Categories, Customers, Orders, Manufacturers, Coupons, Reviews, CMS Pages, and Blogs.

The exact fields are limited to the overlap between SHOPLINE source data and BigCommerce target fields. Taxes and Multiple Languages are not included as standard BigCommerce target entities in this scope.

No. SHOPLINE can provide username and password data, but BigCommerce does not support those values as standard target migration fields. Customer profiles can still be migrated using supported fields such as name, email, billing address, and status.

Customers may need to set or reset their BigCommerce login credentials after launch.

No. SHOPLINE themes, storefront layouts, apps, and platform-specific functionality are not transferred as standard store data because BigCommerce uses a different theme, app, and integration architecture.

Yes. The standard overlap includes product attributes, variants, thumbnail images, and additional images, along with names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, stock fields, dimensions, metadata, and product tags.

Yes, for fields supported by both platforms. Coupons can include code, dates, customer groups, usage limits, and discount values. Reviews can include date, status, rating, author details, and comments.

CMS Pages support name, date, URL, description, categories, content, and thumbnail image. For Blogs, the standard overlap is Created Date, URL, Description, and Thumbnail Image.

Yes. The migration is performed separately from your live SHOPLINE storefront, so normal store operations can continue while supported data is transferred.

Before launch, eligible records created after the main transfer can be handled with Recent Data Migration.

BigCommerce does not allow a source Order ID to become its internal BigCommerce Order ID. When the original SHOPLINE identifier needs to be preserved, it can be stored in the BigCommerce External ID field instead.

Also review inventory after order migration because importing orders linked to products can update product quantity on BigCommerce.

Supported Product and Product Category Meta Title and Meta Description fields can be migrated. CMS Page and Blog URLs can also be transferred where they overlap with the BigCommerce target structure.

When important URLs change, prepare 301 redirects to the new destinations and review metadata, redirects, canonical behavior, sitemaps, internal links, and crawl errors before launch.
