Preserve Order IDs is an Additional Option you can select during the Entities Selection step of the Migration Wizard, when you’re choosing the data to migrate to your Target Store.
When enabled, your order IDs will be migrated from your Source Store to your Target Store unchanged. For example, if an order has ID #105 on your Source Store, it will keep ID #105 after migrating to your Target Store, helping maintain consistency for order tracking, reporting, and customer reference.
Note: This option requires clearing your Target Store’s existing order data first, so make sure to enable the “Clear Data on Target Store Before Migration” option alongside it. Additional options like this are not included in the base migration price and are charged separately.
