I keep getting the “Cannot reach database from source/target connector” message, what should I do?

Problem: “I have set up the connector and tried to start migration but it showed “Cannot reach database from Source/Target connector”. What should I do?”

Cause: 

In this case, the connector is already been installed on your Source/Target cart. However, it might be due to server security settings or because you are configuring multiple databases on your site that prevents the connector from getting database information to run migration.

How to fix:

This problem is very easy to handle if you can provide information of your FTP or cPanel for us to check and get it resolved for you.
