To enable maintenance mode in PrestaShop, follow these steps to turn this setting on:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to your PrestaShop admin panel (Back Office).<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Shop Parameters<\/strong> > General<\/strong>, then select the Maintenance<\/strong> tab. (On PrestaShop 1.6, this is found under Preferences > Maintenance.)<\/li>\n
  3. Set Enable Shop<\/strong> to No<\/strong>. This takes your storefront offline for all visitors.<\/li>\n
  4. In the Maintenance IP<\/strong> field, add the IP address(es) you want to access the store during maintenance. You can use the Add my IP<\/strong> button to add your current IP automatically. Separate multiple IPs with a comma.<\/li>\n
  5. (Optional) Customize the maintenance message that visitors will see while the store is offline.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Save<\/strong> to apply the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once enabled, only the whitelisted IP addresses will see your store as normal. All other visitors will see the maintenance page until you switch Enable Shop<\/strong> back to Yes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
