Creating a full backup of your SQL Server database ensures your data is safely preserved before making any major changes, such as a migration. Here are two common ways to do it:<\/p>\n

Using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)<\/h3>\n

  1. Open SQL Server Management Studio and connect to your server.<\/li>\n
  2. In “Object Explorer<\/strong>“, expand Databases and right-click the database you want to back up.<\/li>\n
