  • Can I migrate customer passwords to BigCommerce?
    There is no way to migrate customer passwords from other platforms to BigCommerce. BigCommerce has its own password encryption peculiarities. Moreover, BigCommerce is a hosted-E-commerce solution. Therefore,LitExtension cannot touch to BigCommerce database to check BigCommerce password encryption.
  • Can I create 301 redirects to BigCommerce?
    Yes, LitExtension provides a possibility to create 301 redirects to BigCommerce. You can try it now with our free demo. At step 2 of the migration process, easily choose Create 301 Redirects option. Then, it will be performed along with the migration process.
  • Can I migrate SKU to BigCommerce ?
    Yes, LitExtension can help you migrate SKU to BigCommerce store.
  • Will clients' credit card info be transferred?
    No, we do not migrate such type of data. But pay attention that customers' billing, shipping addresses will be moved successfully.
  • Can LitExtension migrate images to BigCommerce?
    You’ll be able actually to export product, categories, and manufacturers images to your new BigCommerce store. Plus, by selecting the additional option you’ll be able migrate images in descriptions of products, categories and blog posts.

    Unfortunately, the migration of currencies to BigCommerce is not possible. All products and order totals will have prices set in the default currency established in BigCommerce, regardless of what currency is set in Source Cart.
    For example: if you’re migrating a product that costs £100 to a BigCommerce store where USD is a default currency, its price after the transfer will be $100.
