How to check the number of entities on Shopify

  

Entity Limit is maximum number of each data types can be migrated. This limit is technically restricted by the tool. e.g: You have 300 products, 700 customers and 1,800 orders, you should select 2,000 entities limit package.


It is simple as ABC to check the number of entities on Shopify Platform. First, access your Shopify Admin Panel and follow the instructions below: 

  

Step 1: Access your Shopify Admin Panel 

Then, add the type of entities you wish to know the total quantity such as products, orders etc., after the slash.

For example, I want to count how many customers are in my store, I will access the link:

https://mystore.myshopify.com/admin/customer

   

Step 2: Add /count.json to the end of your link

Check number of customers: https://mystore.myshopify.com/admin/customers/count.json

Check number of products: https://mystore.myshopify.com/admin/products/count.json

You will see the total quantity of your customers / products on the top of that page.

   

Step 3: Check the number of other items on Shopify

According to the same principle, you can check the number of orders very quickly as following:

https://mystore.myshopify.com/admin/orders/count.json?status=any

Note: There are archived and non archived orders on Shopify. And if the archivation is on – all of them will be transferred as Archived to your target store.
